With his initial plans axed by Mother Nature, Cade Dillard made the short trip to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, La.) on Friday afternoon to compete with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). With a runner-up finish in his heat race placing him sixth on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Dillard improved three spots in the 30-lapper to register a third-place finish. He trailed Kyle Beard and Garrett Alberson to the checkers.
